Indonesian Beef and Quinoa Bowl
The Indonesian Beef and Quinoa Bowl combines seasoned ground beef cooked with coconut milk and warming spices such as red curry paste, cinnamon, and cumin. Served over fluffy quinoa with fresh cucumber and shredded carrot garnishes, and a splash of lime juice and sriracha, this dish balances savory, tangy, and mildly spicy flavors in a bowl format.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 oz coconut milk well shaken, canned
- 2 tablespoon red curry paste gluten free
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- cucumber slices
- carrot shredded
- ½ lime juiced
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- ½ cup quinoa cooked
Instructions
- In a medium-sized pan cook ground beef until no longer pink over medium-high heat.
- Lower heat and add coconut milk and spices. Stir and cook on low until blended.
- Pour beef into a bowl and top with garnishes. Make sure to get some of the yummy sauce in there too!
Notes
