Ingredients

  • 1 cup water (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter , optional for creaminess
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon freshly minced ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon ground)
  • freshly ground black pepper , to taste
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey

Instructions

  1. Combine the water, almond butter, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and raw honey in a blender, then blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasonings, then serve right away or store in the fridge until ready to serve. You can gently heat this drink on the stove for a slightly thicker, warm beverage.
