Ingredients

  • 1 3-4 pound Pork Ribs Rack
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup AIP Classic BBQ Sauce about 1/2 the recipe

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and pat dry. Sprinkle the salt, garlic powder, and onion powder over both sides of the ribs and then set aside.
  2. Place the rack in the instant pot along with the apple cider vinegar. Then place the ribs on top of the rack, wrapped around the pot.
  3. Cook the ribs on pressure cook for 25 minutes. Once it’s finished cooking, wait 10 minutes then switch then switch to venting (quick release).
  4. Preheat the oven broiler. Once the red stopper has dropped on the top of the instant pot, then remove the top.
  5. Place the ribs, meat side up on a baking sheet. Brush with the AIP Classic BBQ Sauce.
  6. Place in the broiler for about 5-10 minutes or until the ribs are bubbling and the sauce is dark.
  7. Serve immediately with additional AIP Classic BBQ sauce.

Notes

  • I use this AIP Classic BBQ Sauce recipe.
  • There’s a film that’s usually over ribs that can be removed for optimal flavor. However, I rarely do it. I always struggle with the time and dexterity needed to remove it.
  • Dig out your instant pot rack for this recipe. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can get one here.
  • You don’t need an actually brush to apply the AIP BBQ sauce. You can just spoon it on and then push it around using the back of the spoon. That’s what I did.
  • If you have a larger instant pot, you may need to add an additional 1/2 cup water to the bottom of the pot along with the apple cider vinegar.
