Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice rinsed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. To the Instant Pot, add the rinsed basmati rice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, unsalted butter, and chicken broth.
  2. Place the lid on and seal it. Set the pressure cooker to high pressure for 5 minutes.
  3. When done, natural pressure release for 5 minutes and then quick release. Fluff before serving.
