Ingredients
- ½ cup onions diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon mustard dried
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard prepared
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 6 chicken tenders frozen or fresh, see note for cooking times
Instructions
- Combine all sauce ingredients in the instant pot. Stir well until combined.
- Add chicken tenders and nestle in the sauce.
- Cook on manual high pressure for 7 minutes. Let natural release for 4 minutes. Manually release the rest of the pressure.
- Remove chicken from the sauce. Blend the sauce, if desired.
- Shred the chicken and return to the sauce.

- If you are using thawed out chicken tenders, you can reduce the cook time to 5 minutes and NPR to 4 minutes.
