Ingredients

  • 8 ears corn on the cob
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the 1 1/2 cups of water to the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Put the trivet on top.
  2. Husk and de-silk the corn. Trim the ends as needed to fit the ears in the Instant Pot.
  3. Put the corn on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot. You can lay them down or put them on end, however they fit better.
  4. Close the lid, making sure the seal is in place and the valve is closed. Set for Manual, high pressure, 2 minutes.
  5. It will take about 10 minutes for the pressure cooker to reach pressure. Once it is done cooking let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  6. Serve the corn with butter, garlic powder and basil, if desired.
