Instant Pot Feta Pasta Recipe

Instant Pot Feta Pasta is a quick and delicious meal made with pasta, feta cheese, fresh basil, tomatoes, and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 16 oz small shell pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz brick feta cheese
  • 12 oz mini cherry tomatoes red in different colors
  • Several fresh basil leaves chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Turn Pot to Saute and adjust to Low, add in olive oil, and once the oil is hot add garlic. Saute for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until garlic is fragrant.
  2. Add the tomatoes and Saute for another minute.
  3. Add in pasta and broth, onion powder, and dried basil.
  4. Add in feta cheese, do not break it, just nestle it a bit into the pasta.
  5. Add the chopped basil
  6. Close and lock the lid, point the valve to seal. Pressure cook on HIGH for 4 minutes. Do a Quick Release after.
  7. Remove the lid and stir well to combine all of the ingredients. For more sauce, click on saute and add a bit of chicken broth, stir to combine.
  8. Serve with fresh basil.
