Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 lb green beans washed and ends trimmed
- 2-3 cloves garlic minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup water in the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Place trivet in the pot and add green beans on top.
- Close the lid, turn the valve to sealing and pressure cook for 2 minutes. After the cook time is over, carefully release the pressure.
- Open the lid, remove the green beans using tongs and place them in a bowl.
- Add minced garlic to the green beans, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle with some olive oil and toss green beans to coat.

Notes
- Trim the ends of the beans before adding them to the Instant Pot. The ends can be a bit twig-like.
- Use your trivet when cooking the beans so that they don't burn.
- Quick release the pressure when you are done cooking so that they don't overcook.
