Instant Pot Shredded Chicken
How to make flavorful shredded chicken in the Instant Pot! You only need five ingredients and it cooks in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1–2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup water or broth
- 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
- 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar optional
Instructions
- Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the Instant Pot with water (or broth), sea salt and pepper, to taste and apple cider vinegar, if using.
- Put the lid on, turn to seal, cook for 10-12 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken breasts. Once done cooking, quick release the pressure.
- Remove the chicken and shred with two forks or place chicken breasts into a large bowl and use a hand mixer to shred the chicken.
