Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats (gluten-free, if needed)
  • 2 cups water
  • salt pinch

Instructions

  1. Place the oats in a mesh strainer. Rinse until the water runs clear.
  2. Place the oats into the Instant Pot and add the water and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cover (make sure it's set to sealing!) and cook on manual pressure for 7 minutes for creamy oats or 8-9 minutes for less creamy oats.
  4. Let stand for 10 minutes, then do a quick steam release.
