Instant Pot Turnips
Perfectly cooked instant pot turnips. Using the instant pot pressure cooker, we are going to show you an easy method to pressure cook turnips.

Ingredients
- 7 Medium Turnips
- 1 Tsp dried herbs
- salt & pepper
- 2 Tsp butter optional

- Steamer basket
Instructions
- Let’s get cooking turnip! Place 1.5 cups (360ml) of water into your instant pot. Then add your steamer basket ready for loading up with turnips.
- Next peel and dice your turnip into medium cubes and load them into the steamer basket.
- Season the turnips with salt and pepper and some mixed herbs and then add the lid, set the valve to sealing and pressure cook turnip for 3 minutes followed by a quick pressure release.
- Do a fork test to make sure the instant pot turnips are soft.
- Transfer the turnips to a serving dish and season with extra salt and pepper and little portions of butter.

Notes
- Liquid. If I am just steaming turnips I don’t bother with any instant pot veggie stock and just use water.
