Irish Mule

An Irish Mule is a refreshing cocktail featuring Irish whiskey, fresh lime juice, and ginger beer served over ice. Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1 ounce lime juice from 1 limes, fresh
  • 8 ounces ginger beer

Instructions

  1. Assemble the drinks. Fill two copper mugs or similarly sized glasses with ice. Add the Irish Whiskey, lime juice and ginger beer to a pitcher. Gently swirl it with a spoon to mix. Pour into the prepared mugs.
  2. Garnish. Garnish with lime wedges and a sprig of mint if preferred and enjoy.

Notes

  • Using copper mugs helps keep the cocktail cold longer but glasses can be used as an alternative.
  • Adjust the strength by adding more ginger beer for a lighter drink.
  • Muddling fresh mint before mixing adds extra flavor if desired.
