Italian Salad Dressing (2 Ways)

My easy Italian salad dressing is a zesty combination of common pantry items, herbs and spices. Plus a 1-ingredient add to make a creamy one!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredient sin a measuring cup and whisk or use an immersion blender to puree and emulsify.
  2. For a creamier version, add 1/4 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt and then blend.
  3. Season either version with salt or sugar to desired taste and use on any salad or as a dipping sauce with bread.
