Ingredients

  • 1 bag (28 ounces) steak fries, cooked per package instructions
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
  • 4 ounces sour cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced (some reserved for topping)
  • 3-4 lices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, diced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Cook steak fries according to package instructions.
  3. Remove fries from the oven and transfer them to an oven-safe skillet.
  4. Top the fries with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Reduce the oven to 400°F.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and most of the jalapeno peppers (reserving some for the topping).
  7. Spread the sour cream mixture on top of the shredded cheeses.
  8. Top with the remaining halves of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, along with the crumbled bacon.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes. Top with reserved jalapenos and green onion.
