Ingredients
Jalebi Batter
- 100 gms – 3.5 oz. maida or all purpose flour
- 30 gms – 1 oz. cornflour
- 245 gms – 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp warm vegetable oil
- 1 pinch saffron colour or red and yellow
- more vegetable oil for frying
Syrup
- 200 gms – 1 cup sugar
- 120 ml – ½ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch saffron
- 1 pinch cardamom powder optional
