Ingredients
- 1 ounce butter melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic chopped
- 1/8 cup red onion diced
- 1/4 cup Bacon diced, cooked
- 1/4 cup Roma tomato diced
- 1 cup chicken cooked, sliced
- 1 ounce heavy cream whipping
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce Ragu brand, cheesy kind
- 1/8 cup Asiago cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 10 ounces bowtie pasta pre-cooked
Instructions
- In a heated sauté pan, combine butter, garlic, onions, bacon, tomatoes, chicken, and spice mixture.
- When onions begin to turn translucent, add heavy cream and Asiago cheese.
- Once cheese and cream have reduced by half, add Alfredo sauce and bowtie pasta. Toss until well combined and remove from the heat.
- Allow the pasta to cool for a few minutes so the cheese and sauce can thicken.
Notes
- Use a high-quality Alfredo sauce for an authentic flavor or prepare your own sauce from scratch.
- Cook pasta just shy of al dente as it continues to soften when combined with the hot sauce.
- For better sauce adhesion, reserve a quarter cup of pasta cooking water and add to the sauce if needed.
