Juicy Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 steak about ¾ lb., see note
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon rosemary fresh or dried
  • ½ teaspoon thyme fresh or dried

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into about 1 inch cubes.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, being sure every surface is covered.
  3. Heat the olive oil in the pan on high heat.
  4. Place the steak bites down so that they all have enough space and are touching the pan on a flat surface.
  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes, than rotate.
  6. Cook for 1 more minute. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
  7. Add the butter and herbs, baste the steak as the butter melts, not longer than 1 minute.
  8. Add the garlic. Let cook about 30 seconds.

Notes

  • You can use any kind of quality steak, like ribeye, t-bone, new york, or sirloin.
