Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups pecans , chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter , melted and cooled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips , miniature
  • 1 9 inch unbaked deep-dish pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk eggs, brown sugar, light corn syrup, flour, butter, white sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold pecan pieces and chocolate chips into the egg mixture until combined; pour into prepared pie crust.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the pie is set 45-50. Serve warm or chilled.
