Keto Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened to room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar Swerve brand
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons almond milk (heavy cream works, too)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric hand mixer until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and beat until the color lightens and the icing is fluffy, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add more liquid if the frosting is too thick.
  3. Chill for 10 minutes in the refrigerator before using to decorate your favorite sugar-free desserts!
