Keto Parmesan Garlic Chaffles - 3 Ways

Super easy to make Keto Chaffles, turned savory and served Italian garlic bread style in 3 different ways!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 whole egg beaten
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Turn on your Waffle Maker, (mine makes 4″ waffles) and start preparing the batter.
  2. Add in all the ingredients, except for the mozzarella cheese to a bowl and whisk. Add in the cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Spray your waffle plates with nonstick spray (I used coconut oil) and add in half the batter to the center. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, depending on how crispy you want your Chaffles.
  4. To serve, there are a couple of options. One is to serve with a drizzle of olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley or basil.

Notes

  • Italian Chaffle Sandwich
  • Prepare the base recipe as noted above. Add your favor cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, whatever you like. I added ham, salami, lettuce and roasted red pepper.
  • Chaffle Breadsticks
  • Prepare the base recipe as noted above. Cut each chaffle into 4 sticks and serve with a side of Low Carb Marinara Sauce.
  • Chaffle Bruschetta
  • Prepare the base recipe as noted above.  Mix together 3-4 cherry tomatoes, chopped, ½ teaspoon fresh basil chopped, splash of olive oil and a pinch of salt.  Serve over the top of the chaffles as prepared above.
