Ingredients

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes purple or yellow inside -baked or steamed, Asian
  • 2 cups gluten-free flour must have rice & tapioca flour for chewiness or Mochiko sweet rice flour for really chewy, Trader Joe’s brand
  • 1/4 cup Organic Sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder Clabber Girl brand
  • 1/2 cup milk I use coconut or flax milk, hot, non-dairy
  • grapeseed oil I only use 1 cup of oil, Trader Joe’s brand, or rice bran oil, for frying, partial oil fill for donut ball in saucepan
  • 1/4 cup Organic Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
