Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 green onions minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon chili-garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ketchup, green onions, garlic, lemon juice, honey, chili-garlic sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add water to reach your desired sauce consistency. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and flavors meld. Remove from heat, cool to room temperature, and season with salt to taste.
