Labneh is a tangy yogurt cheese made with olive oil and whole milk yogurt. It's perfect for serving with crisp veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain whole milk yogurt , do not use Greek
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • vegetables and pita bread for serving

Instructions

  1. In a colander add two layers of cheesecloth.
  2. Add the yogurt and spread evenly.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and place the strainer into a large bowl.
  4. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
  5. Spoon the yogurt into a dip bowl, and stir in salt.
  6. With the back of a spoon, make a decorative back and forth swirl.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and add a pinch of paprika.
  8. Serve on a platter with vegetables like carrots, grape tomatoes, bell pepper strips, cucumber spears, and toasted pita cut into 6 triangles.
