  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 4 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together salt, sugar, paprika, turmeric, onion powder, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Store covered in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Even though it's not specifically listed in the original seasoning recipe, many readers think a little celery salt makes the seasoning taste even more authentic. If that's you, omit 2 tablespoons of the salt and add 2 tablespoons celery salt in its place.
