Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 pound lamb roast warmed and thinly-sliced (see note, leftover
  • 4 large pita bread or flatbread, such as Naan), warmed, pocketless
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Assorted accompaniaments
  • tomato wedged or sliced
  • red onions , thinly-sliced
  • cucumber thinly-sliced
  • lettuce torn or roughly chopped, such as Romaine
  • olive pitted
  • feta cheese crumbled
  • peppers cut into strips, roasted or pickled

Instructions

  1. On a large board, arrange sliced lamb, pita bread, and your chosen accompaniments. Allow guests to fill a warmed pita with their favorite add-ins. 
  2. Serve with French fries, potato chips, or Greek potatoes, and a cold beverage.
