Leftover Lamb Pita Board
Turn your leftover holiday lamb roast into an inviting Pita Board! Everyone gets to choose their favorite add-ins for a casual, fun, self-serve presentation.
Ingredients
- 3/4 to 1 pound lamb roast warmed and thinly-sliced (see note, leftover
- 4 large pita bread or flatbread, such as Naan), warmed, pocketless
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Assorted accompaniaments
- tomato wedged or sliced
- red onions , thinly-sliced
- cucumber thinly-sliced
- lettuce torn or roughly chopped, such as Romaine
- olive pitted
- feta cheese crumbled
- peppers cut into strips, roasted or pickled
Instructions
- On a large board, arrange sliced lamb, pita bread, and your chosen accompaniments. Allow guests to fill a warmed pita with their favorite add-ins.
- Serve with French fries, potato chips, or Greek potatoes, and a cold beverage.
