Lemon Blueberry Trifle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix or store bought cake 16 ounces
  • 1 small lemon instant pudding 3.4 oz box
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 container whipped topping, thawed or fresh whipping cream 8 oz
Toppings
  • lemons
  • blueberries

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix and bake angel food cake according to directions on box
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together instant pudding and milk until smooth
  3. Place in refrigerator to chill at least 10 minutes
To assemble
  1. Cut cake into small pieces
  2. Place several pieces on bottom of glass dish, the amount will depend on the size of your dish
  3. Add several blueberries between pieces of cake
  4. Add 1-2 heaping teaspoons of pudding on top of pudding
  5. Add whipped topping to a disposable decorator bag or resealable bag. You can also spoon it on, however using the bag is easier.
  6. Add blueberries
  7. Repeat layers and top with blueberries, slice of lemon and lemon zest
  8. Place in refrigerator to chill at least 2 hours before serving
  9. Store leftovers in refrigerator
