Lemon Drop Martini
Having a good adult beverage is a necessity! This Perfect Lemon Drop Martini is my go to recipe and is super simple to make. With a delicious sugar and syrup dipped rim to cover the harsh flavor of vodka.
Ingredients
- simple syrup for rim
- granulated sugar for rim
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce triple sec
- ¼ ounce simple syrup
Instructions
- Rim a martini glass with simple syrup and sugar.
- Pour vodka, lemon juice, triple sec, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Strain the martini into the prepared martini glass and serve.
Notes
- Double straining this cocktail is optional to remove any pulp.
- The sugar rim is optional but it helps to smooth the tartness of the cocktail.
- This has a lot of flavor and is sour- it helps to cover the taste of vodka.
- Fresh-squeezed lemon juice should be used for best taste.
