Lemon Glazed Carrots

A slightly sweet and lemony glaze makes these Lemon Glazed Carrots a great compliment to any holiday dinner or everyday dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter salted
  • 1 lb carrot baby
  • 1/3 c water hot
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a medium, non-stick frying pan with a lid melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add carrots and saute 10 minutes, until slightly golden.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer 8-10 minutes, until the liquid has been absorbed.
