Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined, large, raw
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • parsley chopped for garnish, fresh

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and slightly golden.
  3. Add minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat, add butter, and stir until melted and shrimp are coated with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
