Lemon Tart with a Buttery Shortbread Crust

Ingredients

Shortbread Crust
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter sliced
  • 1 recipe perfect lemon curd

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a food processor, add the ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 ½ cup flour, and ¾ cup unsalted butter. Pulse until combined.
  2. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch tart pan and poke the bottom of the crust with a fork.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool the crust.
  4. Make 1 recipe perfect lemon curd.
  5. Pour into the bottom of the shortbread crust. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until set.
