Lemon Tea Recipe (Honey Lemon Tea)
A 4-ingredient, 6-minute lemon tea recipe prepared with freshly brewed tea and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water filtered
- 1 tablespoon tea leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or to taste, fresh
- honey to taste, or sugar
Instructions
- Heat water in a pot on a medium flame for about 3 minutes or until the water starts to a rolling boil.
- Immediately turn off the flame and add tea leaves. Cover the lid and let the tea leaves steep in the water for 2 minutes.
- Strain the black tea, stir in lemon juice, and honey. Enjoy piping hot!
For Iced Tea
- Allow the lemon tea to cool down. Then chill it and serve by adding ice cubes and lemon slices. You could add some soda water (also called sparkling water, seltzer water, or fizzy water) for sparkling lemon iced tea.
