Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 oz. bag lima beans frozen, baby
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • ½ tsp liquid smoke optional
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder or dried minced onion
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium pot with a lid add the water, lima beans, bouillon cube, liquid smoke, garlic, cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic salt, sugar, and black pepper.
  2. Over medium-high heat bring everything to a boil and stir to help melt the bouillon cube.
  3. Cover and reduce heat to low.
  4. Let simmer covered for 20 minutes or until tender.
  5. Serve!
