Loaded Tater Tot Nachos
Tater Tot Nachos have crispy Tater Tots smothered in melted cheddar cheese and bacon. This delicious snack, inspired by a dish at one of my all time favorite restaurants, takes just minutes to prepare and everyone LOVES it

Ingredients
- 1 (32 ounce each) bag tater tots
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
- 8 ounces lean ground beef optional, or 2 cups leftover taco meat
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning optional
Toppings
- 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
- 4 green onions sliced
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- If using ground beef, heat a medium skillet over medium high heat. Add the beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and ¼ cup of water. Simmer uncovered for 4 to 5 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
- Line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Place Tater Tots in a single layer and bake 20 minutes turning after 10 minutes.
- Top with bacon, beef if using, and cheddar cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with tomatoes, green onions and sour cream. Serve immediately.
