Loaded Tater Tot Skewers
Crispy little tater tots are topped with gooey cheese and bacon and served on skewers to make for easy eating. Air fryer recipe
Ingredients
- 36 tater tots frozen
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 3 lices Bacon crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer at 400 F for 3 minutes.
- Put the tater tots in the basket of the air fryer. Don't overfill the basket. The tater tots should cover the bottom with a few on top, but don't fill the basket to the top.
- Air fry the tater tots for 15 minutes, shaking the basket once or twice during cooking to ensure even cooking.
- Let the tater tots cool for 5 minutes so you don't burn your fingers.
- Thread the tater tots onto skewers or bamboo picks, putting 5 or 6 on each. Put the skewers in the air fryer basket.
- Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over the tater tots.
- Put the basket back in the air fryer and cook at 400 F for 5 minutes.
- Serve sprinkled with green onions or chives. Drizzle with ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
- If using the oven cook the tater tots as directed on the package, usually 25-30 minutes at 400 F. Then cook the loaded skewers for 8-10 minutes at 400 F.
