Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3.5 ounces firm tofu cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 7 ounces yard long beans cut them into 2-inch segments
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until all sides are golden brown and crispy. Remove tofu from the wok and set aside.
  2. In the same wok, sauté the chopped garlic until fragrant and golden, about 20 seconds.
  3. Add the long beans to the wok and stir in the light soy sauce, oyster sauce, white sugar, and white pepper, tossing well to coat the long beans evenly. Stir-fry until they’re soft to your liking yet still crisp.
  4. Serve your stir-fried yard long beans immediately and add the crispy tofu on top. Enjoy with jasmine rice.
