Lotus Biscoff Biscuit Base
This Lotus Biscoff Biscuit Base is a no-bake crust made by mixing crushed Lotus Biscoff biscuits, caster sugar, and melted unsalted butter to form a lightly damp crumb mixture. The mixture is pressed firmly into a tart or springform pan and chilled to set. The base offers a spiced, caramelized cookie flavor and a crunchy texture that supports creamy or fruit fillings, making it suitable for cheesecakes, tarts, or chilled desserts.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Lotus Biscoff biscuits crushed, crumbs
- ¼ cup caster sugar or superfine granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup butter melted, unsalted
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the cookie crumbs and sugar. Then add the melted butter and stir well to form a coarse lightly damp crumb.
- Transfer the mixture to your pie shell, tart base or springform tin. Press firmly to pack this into the tin evenly on the base and up the sides to the desired depth.
- Place in the refrigerator to chill for about 1 hour before filling.
