Mac and Cheese Lasagna

This perfect mix of macaroni and cheese and tomato based lasagna is a fast and easy weekday dinner that is guaranteed to be a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Mac and Cheese (prepared)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup onion (diced)
  • 1 can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mac and cheese as per the box directions, set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°
  3. In a medium saucepan add the ground beef, onion and garlic and brown until cooked. Drain fat and add the spaghetti sauce. Heat through.
  4. In a 9x9 baking dish layer the meat sauce, the mac and cheese, meat sauce, mac and cheese, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the dish is warmed through.

Notes

  • This dish is great served with slices of garlic bread.
