Mandarin Chicken

Mandarin Chicken – popular Chinese chicken dish with sweet and savory Mandarin sauce. Crazy good just like Panda Express or the malls.

Ingredients

  • 2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts
  • oil for pan-frying
  • scallion chopped , for garnishing
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 slices ginger peeled

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet and pan-fry the chicken on both sides until cooked through. You can also grill the chicken or use a cast-iron grill pan. Allow to cool, then slice into pieces and set aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sauce slightly thickens. Discard the ginger slices.
  3. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and garnish with scallions. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
