Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mango chunks (fresh or frozen, or 1 cup mango puree)
  • 2 cups PLAIN yogurt 500g
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar (or honey)
  • 1 cup ice
To serve:
  • Pinch of ground cardamom optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the mango chunks (or puree), yogurt, sugar, and ice to a blender.
  2. Process until smooth and frothy.
  3. Serve topped with a pinch of cardamom and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can use fresh or frozen mango for this recipe. Frozen mango will produce a more frozen cold consistency while fresh mango or mango puree will be a bit thinner.
  • If you happen to use very thick yogurt, your lassi may come out too thick. Feel free to thin it out with a little water or milk until desired consistency is reached.
  • The cardamom is optional but traditional in mango lassis. If you don't have any on hand or don't like the flavor, feel free to leave it out.
  • If you want a non-dairy version of this mango lassi recipe, you can use coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt in place of the dairy yogurt.
