Mango Lassi
Mango Lassi is a refreshing Indian smoothie drink made with fresh mango, tangy yogurt and a touch of cardamom. Perfect for breakfast, dessert or cooling off on a hot Summer day!
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Mango frozen chunks
- 3 Mango ripe, fresh
- 1 cup whole milk yogurt plain
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2-3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions
- Slice the mangos vertically, just to the side of center to avoid the large flat pit.
- Make several slices across the pulp side of the mango half creating cubes. Push from the skin side to turn the mango inside out and use a knife to cut out the cubes.
- Add these cubes to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add the frozen mango chunks, yogurt, milk and Cardamom to the blender and blend until smooth.
- Taste and add sugar until it reaches the desired sweetness.
- Serve immediately with diced mangos on top.
