Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi is a refreshing Indian smoothie drink made with fresh mango, tangy yogurt and a touch of cardamom. Perfect for breakfast, dessert or cooling off on a hot Summer day!

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Mango frozen chunks
  • 3 Mango ripe, fresh
  • 1 cup whole milk yogurt plain
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

  1. Slice the mangos vertically, just to the side of center to avoid the large flat pit.
  2. Make several slices across the pulp side of the mango half creating cubes. Push from the skin side to turn the mango inside out and use a knife to cut out the cubes.
  3. Add these cubes to a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Add the frozen mango chunks, yogurt, milk and Cardamom to the blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Taste and add sugar until it reaches the desired sweetness.
  6. Serve immediately with diced mangos on top.
