Mango lassi

Mango lassi is such a simple Indian mango smoothie that's smooth, creamy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mango (1 yellow mango)
  • 1 cup PLAIN yogurt 240ml
  • ¼ cup milk 60ml
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 pinch cardamon

Instructions

  1. Remove the mango flesh from the stone by cutting top to bottom on either side of the stone, scoring the flesh down to the skin in squares then popping them open. Cut the cubes from the skin. Remove skin from leftover flesh by stone and take off that mango flesh too. (See photos above for more detail on this)
  2. Put the mango, yogurt, milk and lemon zest, if using, in a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Serve with a little cardamon sprinkled on top.
