Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 lemon
  • ⅓ cup agave nectar
  • 5 small mint leaves
  • 3 cups cold water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel and chop the mango into chunks.
  2. Add the chunks to a blender and blitz until smooth.
  3. Add the mango puree to a jug together with the agave nectar, squeezed lemon juice and mint leaves and give everything a good stir.
  4. Pour over the water and mix well to combine.
  5. Serve with ice.

Notes

  • Proper ripe mangoes turn into a really smooth puree, there is no need to pass it through a sieve for the lemonade, although fruit bits are usually pretty nice in a drink.
  • The jug I used only took 3 cups of water, if you use a pitcher or a larger jug, just adjust the amount of ingredients used accordingly, otherwise they flavours won't be as strong.
