Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Mango diced
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tbsp Coriander chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, finely chopped red onion, and finely chopped green chilli.
  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. The lime juice will add a zesty flavour to the salsa.
  3. Add the freshly chopped coriander leaves to the bowl for a burst of freshness.
  4. Season the mixture with 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, and 1/2 tsp of sugar. Adjust the salt and chilli to your taste preference.
  5. Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
  6. Allow the mango salsa to sit for about 15 minutes to let the flavours meld together.
  7. Serve your delicious Mango Salsa as a side dish or with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the level of spiciness by adding more or less green chilli.
  • You can also add a touch of fresh mint leaves for an extra layer of flavour.
