Mangonada Margaritas

Mangonada Margaritas blend frozen diced mango, lime juice, ice, orange liqueur, tequila, agave nectar, and mango nectar into a smooth, fruity cocktail with a balanced sweet and tart profile. The margarita glasses are rimmed with tajin seasoning and decorated with chamoy sauce, lending a spicy, tangy, and slightly smoky dimension. Tamarind candy straws add an optional sweet and sour accent. This layered drink combines tropical mango flavors with classic margarita ingredients, accented by Mexican-inspired garnishes.

  • Freeze peeled, diced mango for at least 6 hours or overnight before blending for best texture.
  • Fresh lime juice is essential for balancing flavors in this cocktail.
  • If mango nectar is unavailable, substitute with fresh orange juice, pineapple juice, homemade simple syrup, or water.
  • Agave nectar can be replaced with honey, maple syrup, or sugar; increase sweetness if water replaces mango nectar.
