Mangonut slice is a delightful sweet and sour treat that combines the tropical sweetness of dried mango with satisfying crunchy nuts, all covered in milky creamy chocolate. It is one of the easy mango recipes, you can make in any season!
Ingredients
- 130 g Mango dried slice
- 150 g walnuts
- 150 g almonds
- 315 g white chocolate caramelised
- 30 g butter optional, with salt
- rose petals optional, dried
- 5 g pistachio optional, salted
Instructions
- Cut the dried mango slices into small bite-sized chunks.
- Grind nuts into a coarse powder.
- Melt the white chocolate with butter in a microwave.
- Add nuts and chocolate to a lined tray. Scatter mango slices everywhere.
- Add rose petals. Garnish with pistachios and some mango slices.
- Smoothen the surface with a spatula and parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours at least or until set.
- Cut into bars or squares to serve!
Notes
- Don't add mango slices all at once. They will stick together, resulting in unequal flavor distribution in the slice.
- If the chocolate-nut base is too sticky to smoothen out, add more nuts to it to balance the stickiness.
