Ingredients
- ice
- 2 ounces bourbon* I used Jim Beam
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- 1 small Orange peel slice
- 1 maraschino cherry for garnishing
Instructions
- In a shaker filled halfway with ice, add the bourbon, vermouth, and bitters. Stir with a bar spoon for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Strain into a cocktail glass and squeeze the orange peel over the top of the glass to release the oil.
- Garnish and serve with the orange peel and a maraschino cherry. Recipe is intended for those for whom alcohol is legal and appropriate.
