Manhattan Cocktail Drink Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Canadian Club whisky or your whisky of choice
  • 1/2 ounce vermouth (add another .5 ounce to sweeten the drink if desired)
  • 1 maraschino cherry
  • 1 Angostura bitters dash
  • ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add 2 oz Canadian Club whisky to the glass.
  2. Add 1/2 or 1 ounce of sweet  vermouth.
  3. Add 1-3 dashes  of bitters.
  4. Stir for 24-25 rotations.
  5. Serve.

Notes

  • Karlynn prefers a ratio of 2:1, with another 1/2 ounce of sweet Vermouth to dilute the pure rye whisky a bit more.
