Maple Apple Bars are delicious and super easy to make with brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and Granny Smith Apple chunks.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup butter , melted
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 apple peeled, cored and chopped, Granny Smith variety

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 9x13 baking dish with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  4. Stir in the apples.
  5. Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before slicing.
