Maple Orange Cranberry Sauce

This homemade orange cranberry sauce is sugar-free and takes minutes to make! This sauce is sweet and tangy and perfect for Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries rinsed
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place medium sauce pan over medium heat and add the orange juice, half of the orange zest, cranberries and maple syrup.
  2. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling over medium heat for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst and break dow, and the sauce thickens.
  3. Top with the remaining orange zest and serve warm.

Notes

  • This recipe serves 10 and it is easily halved and doubled.
  • Cook the sauce until the cranberries start to burst.
  • Don't have the pan on too high a heat during cooking.
