Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar , packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter , melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup pecans , chopped (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8x8 baking dish with baking spray.
- In a large bowl whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, maple syrup, and eggs until well combined.
- Add in flour and baking powder until just combined.
- Stir in half the pecans.
- Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining pecans over the batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing.
